The Little Princess

We all felt very alone that time. Sometimes we still do, when we remember that deafening silence. No engines, no honking, no barking, no yelling, no planes. Just you. There. After all conversations were exausted. With family, with friends, with neigbours with yourself. Just the silence. And the misery and the beauty. There to be suffered, to be enjoyed, to be watched. Questions arise of what do we love the most. What is the most important. What can a window over the phone bring me. What can I offer. What do I need. What are we doing with our most precious matter. Time. Women they emerge as strongest and most capable of survival and love. Thinking autonomous beings. Protagonists of stories about friendship, purpose, life and death. And the Internet brings what we desire with faster peace. Being that validation, narcisism, manipulation, money, company. "A little bit of everything all…

Poetry Slam 2021

"Poem means feelings, whatever we think, whatever emotions come in our mind, whether it is happy or sad, we convey all our feelings to the people through the medium of poetry" Origins Of The Poetry Slam Marc Kelly Smith- Poet The concept of poetry slam as we now know that it originated in the 1980s in Chicago, where a local poet and construction worker Marc Kelly Smith, feeling that they had lost their true passion for poetry, had an idea that he would bring poetry back to the people. He created a weekly poetry event-poetry slam, where everyone could participate and show their love towards poetry, because he knew that poetry heals pain and gives a pure smile. As we all know that poem gives us power to perform well, and through that emotions comes into the heart and conveys the message, what exactly wanted to give So we were…

And other people influenced by the media and entertainment industries objectification harass these women and girls with eve teasing and girls with other forms of harassment Society’s role in our life  Society has made a pre-decided structure for the women's action and behaviour. Storytelling Slam

As our Founder and Inspiration, Urvashi Aunty, uses to say, “storytelling is key to my success”, and an indisputable leadership skill. The first edition of the Storytelling Slam intends to be a platform for the young people to work towards enabling their creativity and developing their writing by providing a public mirror to try public speaking and learn from others. At least the application to participate required a short video of maximum 5 minutes with the participant telling the story that would be reviewed and softly coached to its improvement, if needed. Bansuri, The Social Question

Bansuri is a half-improvised play. The structure of the play was discovered throughout the practices until we had the basis of our story. In this way we could avoid depending on any script, given the challenges of connection that we were facing and that anyone could experience at the time of the play, even fall from the meeting could happen so following a script was a burden itself. After the group was meeting for 12 weeks and practice through theater exercises, the actors were able to perform in a natural way. The play showcases the tale from Amartya Sen's parable in which three students contend to win a prize from their teacher, each one representing a view over justice. The Plot In the previous Month, an essay competition was organized for students of many schools over an opportunity to go to the U.S. free of cost for higher education. In…

Argument Clinic Skit

The script and sketch itself comes from the famous Monty Python, an all times referent in humor, some would say absurd, some would say philosophical. The sketch was once selected to be featured for the birthday of our beloved Director of the College but the curfew and infection of COVID-19 left all of us doing our own clowning at home. The script was adapted by Abhishek Srivastava and actors and director coordinate through chat and video-conference to run the rehearsals and understand the underlying nuances of this fiction work. That, again, might sound absurd for many, though what do we are we but articulated animals that want always to be right. Cast: Unnati Shashwat Avanish Vaishnavi I think that you should better take a look...
