The Little Princess

We all felt very alone that time. Sometimes we still do, when we remember that deafening silence. No engines, no honking, no barking, no yelling, no planes. Just you. There. After all conversations were exausted. With family, with friends, with neigbours with yourself.

Just the silence. And the misery and the beauty. There to be suffered, to be enjoyed, to be watched.

Questions arise of what do we love the most. What is the most important. What can a window over the phone bring me. What can I offer. What do I need. What are we doing with our most precious matter. Time.

Women they emerge as strongest and most capable of survival and love. Thinking autonomous beings. Protagonists of stories about friendship, purpose, life and death.

And the Internet brings what we desire with faster peace. Being that validation, narcisism, manipulation, money, company.

“A little bit of everything all of the time.”

Bo Burham

Very much inspired in the novel The little Prince by Saint-Exupéry. This story is deliberately about a girl left alone in her hut with her mother’s absence and smartphone. It attempts to bring up the same topics and challenge the values system of current society, with a compromise of the inexpert director that makes his best at twisting it to fit in the current exceptional times.

Very often indian families are left alone. Alienated by the society for being poor, for being out-casted, for being females. Still in this partv of the world (India is so big that I’m no longer tempted to call it a country) suffers an outrageous disadvantage based on gender and surname

I don’t want to bother you with the analise of the play by Saint-Exupéry. I oly challenge you to compare the characters to the original story. Maybe even discover the straw in the other’s eye. Even more challenging to look at yourself in the mirror and spot it in your own.. But I must warn you again,

“It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye”

The Fox

Now lay back and enjoy the very much carefully created show. We tried to talk about you, indeed. Because you are our प्रेरणा, our inspiration.
